For Our Children: A Benefit for Sandy Hook Releases 1.14
The Sound4Good record label has partnered Healing Newtown (healingnewtown.org), a division of the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission, to help support the community by offering the new release, “For Our Children: A Benefit for Sandy Hook” by Various Artists available exclusively to everyone who donates just $1 USD (or more). Our message in the album is to shine your light. We have come together as artists to support the healing process of those impacted by the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy of December 14th, 2012. This album serves as sound healing comfort for children and adults throughout the world.
30 Artists from around the globe have put this album together as a ceremony. Countries represented are the United States, Australia, France, Great Britain, Denmark and Ireland. We have come together to honor all our children; their laughter, their joy, their magic, their energy, their love.
All proceeds from this album are directly donated by the Bandcamp system to Healing Newtown (healingnewtown.org) that is a division of the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission, supported by the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut and the Connecticut Office of the Arts (COA). As Newtown and the Sandy Hook Community work through the many stages of healing this arts action team will address all related inquiries, ideas, and fundraising. An official arts healing fund has been established for this purpose through the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut.

For Our Children will release on S4G Label
The benefit album, For Our Children, a benefit for the Sandy Hook Elementary Tragedy, will release on S4G records. S4G, Sounds For Good, founder Jack Hertz, created the label a couple of years ago dedicated to releasing music with proceeds going to benefit charities. In the past, S4G has created compilation albums that benefit, Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society (WDCS), stillstream and electromusic.com, Hurricane Sandy Relief and the Arbor Day Fund. What You Seek is Seeking You Release Delayed
I have decided to push back the release of my new book, What You Seek is Seeking You to focus on releasing projects that can immediately help or benefit the Sandy Hook Elementary community and healing from the wounds of such a tragedy. While the new book focuses on these healing elements, I have pushed back the release a couple weeks, in order to focus on immediate need projects directly benefitting Sandy Hook.
